Urban Living Lounge

The Urban Living Lounge is a community space open to the public, allowing anyone to come meet friends, read a book, surf the web using our free public WiFi, enjoy on-going art exhibitions or take a coffee break. The Lounge is a gift to the West Queen West neighbourhood from a partnership of six Toronto development industry leaders committed to ensuring that a vibrant arts scene remains central to the neighbourhood as it grows and changes. For more information visit our Supporters page.

Material Library

The Material Library is a programming initiative created by Youngplace to create a place for those to share and swap art supplies. At least once a month, we open the Material Library for a Material Exchange, encouraging any artists, teachers, creators, or neighbours to come by, drop off their unused crafting items, swap for new ones, and even stay to chat with fellow makers. The Material Library has a wide range of items, such as fabrics, paints, beadery supplies, crepe paper, and much more.
