Call for Artists - Youngplace Art Holiday Market
Are you looking for a Holiday Market meets Exhibition? We want you at Youngplace!
Youngplace invites artists and makers to apply for the Youngplace Art & Craft Holiday Market a one-day art market and gallery-style exhibition presented throughout the first and second-floor Hallway Galleries.
This year’s market will place a special focus on craft artists and makers working in three dimensions, including textiles, ceramics, jewellery, sculpture, mixed media and other craft-based practices. Applications from artists working across a range of disciplines are welcome.

ABOUT THE MARKET
The Youngplace Art & Craft Holiday Market offers artists and makers an opportunity to exhibit and sell their work in a engaging, professional setting in the heart of Toronto’s West Queen West neighbourhood.
The market will take place alongside the Toronto Potters Holiday Pottery Sale, bringing visitors together for a festive day of art, craft and community. The event will also feature holiday music, refreshments from local food vendors and hands-on craft activities.
Booth Options & Pricing
4 Foot Space - $125 + HST
Recommended for emerging artists or artists with small to medium 2D mounted works
6 Foot Space - $150 + HST
Recommended for artists with medium to large 2D mounted works, or multidisciplinary artists with 2D/3D works
8 Foot Space - $200 + HST
Recommended for established/experienced artists and artists with large to oversized 2D mounted works and/or a large body of multidisciplinary work
First Floor Table – (6 Foot Table Only) - $150 + HST
Recommended for artisans with small-to-medium 3D works. Tables are available for rent.
APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Full contact information
- Artist statement – 100 words or less
- Artist biography – 100 words or less
- CV (Please indicate if you have previous market, exhibition, curatorial or retail vending experience here)
- Five to ten images of recent work that are representative of work to be exhibited in the show.
- Images and/or plan of gallery space design or examples of past booths or exhibitions.
